ECO Printing

Eco Printing is a relatively new art form. It creates prints of leaves and flowers on fabric. By combining the natural pigments, tannins and acids present in the leaves and flowers with mordants, moisture and heat, permanent imprints of the plant materials are created. Each print is unique as every leaf and flower on the earth is different.

Natural Dye

Natural dyes are dyes or colorants derived from plants, invertebrates or minerals. A full palette of colors can be achieved by blending dyes together. Many of these dyes can be found as raw plant material in your backyard while others are available as extracts.
